Zusammenfassung:FIELD: electron microscopic examinations of real microstructures of solids, preparation of objects from current-conducting materials for transmission electron microscopy. SUBSTANCE: pulsating jet of electrolyte adjusted by frequency and amplitude acts in compliance with invention on one surface of specimen submerged in electrolyte. Control over termination of process of thinning is carried out by electric contact method with closure of electric network " specimensignal electrode " through drop of chemically inert nonconductive liquid by fact of emergence of microhole in thinned region of specimen. Electrochemical cell has U- shaped conduit, one end of conduit is connected through polymer tube to air pulser and other end of it has nozzle, carries object holder with specimen and signal electrode and is connected to common space of cell. EFFECT: increased efficiency of electrochemical thinning of specimens and quality of transmission electron microscopy, simplified design of facility. 3 cl, 2 dwg
