METHOD TO PRODUCE MODIFIED SILICON DIOXIDE

FIELD: chemical and rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of production of modified fire extinguishing powders, flatting agents for varnish, fillers for industrial rubber goods. Silicon dioxide is treated with the modifier in a blade mixer with following thermostating under 20-1500 C within 0.5 24 hours. As a modifier was used the mixture of methyl hydride siloxane, as a base, with the curing agent aminoethylamiopropyltrimethoxysilan or aminofunctional siloxane taken in the ratio: the curing agent (5 - 70): 1. The modifier is taken in quantity of 2-10 % of masses against the silicon dioxide content. The technical result of the invention is the raise of the water-repellency of the modified silicon dioxide at simplification of technology process.
