Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: nuclear power engineering ; inspecting electron-beam welded joints on lower plug of zirconium-alloy fuel element. SUBSTANCE: inspection table is provided with spring-loaded adjustable-height polymeric beds to receive fuel elements, roller-type upper hold-down piece for pressing cans to flat movable slotted-surface support incorporating screw-to-nut transmission, gear transmission, electric motor, template, electric sensor, and electric limit sensors; carriage is provided with rack-and-gear drive for displacement relative to welds, electric motor, template, electric sensor, and film disposed therein; slit is made in inspection table above film carrying carriage, its width being sufficient to take at least four photos of four sections of welds. EFFECT: enhanced weld inspection quality and operating reliability of fuel assemblies in reactor core. 1 cl, 6 dwg
