Zusammenfassung:FIELD: rolled tube production, namely in aggregates with pilger rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: method of pilger rolling of tubes by deforming heated metal in piercing and pilger mills comprises steps of air cooling of tube before pilger rolling mill until temperature 950 -1020 C; at rolling process cooling tube by means of sprayer with water pressure 8 - 10 atm and at flowrate 350 -400 m3/h in such a way that tube is cooled by portions equal to mu.m where mu - elongation value, m - feed value, mm; in periodic interval defined by angular velocity of rolls. Cooling boundary is at outlet side of mill and it is spaced from it by distance equal to path of mandrel rolling away relative to plane passing through roll axes. EFFECT: possibility for making cold- and corrosion resistant tubes in lines with pilger rolling mills. 1 tbl
