Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: integrated optics. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for optical communication lines. Given connector has input optical waveguide, N optical waveguides, assemblage of Y- split waveguides forming configuration of m stages for branching of single optical signal into two signals across each stage and assemblage of crooked optical waveguides interconnecting Y-split optical waveguides or connecting Y-split waveguides of m-th stage to output optical waveguides. Positions and dimensions of Y-split optical waveguides and of crooked waveguides are so determined that longest of N routes running through from starting point to each output waveguide is minimal. Optical connector is manufactured with the use of modules of Y-split optical waveguides and modules of connecting optical waveguides which allows various structures of connectors to be designed. EFFECT: increased number of output waveguides, diminished dimensions of optical connector and simplified technology of its manufacture. 11 cl, 9 dwg |
