Zusammenfassung:FIELD: glass industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of glass for optical aims. Glass comprises the following components, wt.-%: Al2O3, 40-51; CaO, 23-34; MgO, 3-6; BaO, 8-15; Na2O, 0.5-3; K2O, 0.1-1.5; Y2O3, 7-10. For reduction of crystallization SiO2 in the amount 0.55.0 can be added to glass. Integral transmission coefficient in the range of spectrum 2-5 mcm is 0.7-0.71 cm-1 and for wavelength 1.06 mcm 0.87-0.88 cm-1. Proposed glass can be used in making articles working in the range of spectrum 0.4-5 mcm. Invention provides improvement of alumocalcium glass with enhanced transmission curve index.
