SUBSTANCE: proposed switching unit that can be used in switch-mode power supplies where both power buses need switching by electronic intelligent switch and is provided with switch condition status shaping unit enabling signal (status) generation in case of open circuit in load and control signal failure or short circuit, or load current failure in closed state has status control unit, first and second auxiliary switches, first and second intelligent switches incorporated in each channel, first and second registers, first and second diodes; novelty is introduction of two resistors affording two-times reduction of voltage across closed switches and auxiliary switches designed for serviceability check of electronic switching unit without disturbing load unit connections.
