Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic purification of hydrogen-containing gas mixtures and can be used in a variety branches of chemical industry, for example in ammonia production, and also in hydrogen power engineering, in particular as fuel for combustion cells. Carbon monoxide is removed from gas mixture by oxidation of carbon monoxide with oxygen or air in reactor at temperature no lower than 20 C and pressure no lower than 0.1 atm in two steps, each of which involves at least one catalyst bed. In the first step, CuO-CeO2 and MnO2-CeO, are used as active components and, in the second one, catalyst containing active components based on precious metals or their compounds with other metals. Content of CO in thus treated gases is below 10 ppm. EFFECT: enhanced carbon monoxide oxidation efficiency. 8 cl, 1 tbl, 8 ex |
