Zusammenfassung:FIELD: measurement of concentration of methane in atmosphere of coal mine. SUBSTANCE: differential measurement of signal with simultaneous indirect evaluation of error in readings by time characteristics is carried out in each cycle during transient process. If it exceeds rated value automatic correction of readings is conducted in correspondence with dependence DeltaScor = DeltaS'(DeltaT'/DeltaT) where DeltaS' is value of measured differential signal; DeltaT is time in the course of which value of measured signal during transient process falls by certain value in relative per cents; DeltaT is time during which signal falls by same certain value in the course of initial calibration of sensor and in one and same point of reading ( time ) of differential signal.
