Zusammenfassung:FIELD: check of state of metal while its tested for hardness. SUBSTANCE: facility determining parameters of indentation made in surface of metal tested for hardness has indenter, mechanism loading indenter, measurement unit which body houses transducer of linear translation of indenter, mechanism establishing geometrical parameters of roll, limit switches limiting unauthorized motion of indenter, power supply unit, double channel amplifier of signals from output of transducer of linear translation of indenter and mechanism establishing geometrical parameters of roll, analog-to-digital converter, unit controlling electric motor and personal computer. Mechanism loading indenter comprises D C electric motor with reduction gear, measurement unit additionally has strain-gauge transducer to record loading force of indenter and lower pressing casing. Mechanism establishing geometrical parameters of roll includes light-emitting and photodiodes of IR radiation. Transducer of linear translation of indenter comprises light-emitting and photodiodes of IR radiation and light- impenetrable blind anchored on body of strain-gauge transducer.
