ELEVATOR TO PACK CASING-HEAD STUFFING BOX

FIELD: oil and gas industry, oil production with use of downhole sucker-rod pump installations. SUBSTANCE: invention specifically refers to maintenance of casing-head stuffing box in oil and gas producing well. Elevator is fitted with bullet coming in the form of cylindrical bar with open longitudinal span to accommodate casing-head rod and equipped with couple of side handles. Body has longitudinal open span and comprises cylindrical bushing with upper conical and lower location parts. Body has handle on side opposite to span. Span has door put on hinge interacting with spring locator. Lever made fast to door is also put on hinge. This lever interacts with casing-head rod while door closes. Elevator to pack casing-head stuffing box of oil and gas producing well is provided with bar-like hollow member mounted immobile in corresponding longitudinal groove made in conical part of internal space of elevator body. Lower end of bar-like hollow member communicates with stuffing box space while its upper end communicates with atmosphere. Employment of elevator to pack casing-head stuffing box in combination with member relieving air from stuffing box space enables labor productivity in maintenance of casing-head stuffing box of oil and gas producing well to be raised.
