SUBSTANCE: zinc production recycled water is conditioned by agitation with barium sulfite reagent followed by settling of pulp, filtration of clarified water, and regeneration barium-containing solid residue. Method is distinguished by that agitation of water with barium sulfite is effected in presence of lime at lime-to-barium sulfite weight ratio 1: (2-3). EFFECT: increased purity of conditioned water to sanitary standards. 1 tbl
