Zusammenfassung:FIELD: power electronics and electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method that can be used for three-phase supply mains including those feeding all power consumers of industrial enterprise departments and housing estates at a time and makes it possible to save electrical energy and to raise power characteristics is implemented in device one of whose components is power transformer connected to supply mains. Circuit arrangement for interconnecting all components of device is given in description of invention. All device components and power transformer are mounted in common tank. Device is built around transformer-thyristor modules which extends its functional capabilities. Method and device enable solving the problem of automatic balancing of load current consumption among phases of power transformer and supply mains, automatic correction of reactive power consumed by loads, and prevents its passage over power transformer windings and supply mains phases. In addition method and device provide for automatic online regulation of voltage across output terminals and voltage control according to desired program to step it down across input terminals of power transformer at night and during holidays. Device is noted for reduced material input due to reduced consumption of active materials for its manufacture. EFFECT: reduced power loss in supply mains and power transformer; reduced power requirement of loads due to better power characteristics; reduced failure probability of equipment being fed. 2 cl, 21 dwg
