Zusammenfassung:FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hydroxyl-containing trifluorochloroethylene-based terpolymers designed for protective coatings on metallic, plastic, concrete, and other surfaces exposed to atmospheric effects. Terpolymer of trifluorochloroethylene, n-butyl vinyl ether, and hydroxyalkyl vinyl ether in the form of liquid composition is obtained by copolymerization of indicated monomers at 55-60 C and initial manometer pressure 4.2-6.0 (falling to 0.5-1.7 atm) in xylene solvent and in presence of initiator: iso- bis-isobutyronitrile, triethylamine, and isopropyl alcohol. The latter and n- butyl vinyl ether are used in amounts 1 to 4 mole of each per 1 mole hydroxyalkyl vinyl ether. Polymerizate is purified by distilling off unreacted monomers and part of solvent in the form of azeotropic mixture with xylene. EFFECT: avoided necessity of additional heating of polymerizate to decompose initiator, simplified technology, and reduced amounts of waste. 2 cl, 4 tbl
