Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:FIELD: manufacture of inserted armored solid propellant charges mainly used in missile systems of various designation. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in application of an adhesion sublayer on a propellant grain, drying of the sublayer, installation and centering of it in a mould, warming up of the powderlike or granular armor material up to the fluid state and injection of it under pressure in the space between the mould chamber and the propellant grain. Armor plating is accomplished on thermoplastic automatic machines at an injection pressure of 500 to 1500 kgf/sq.cm and temperature of the armor mass melt up to 200 C, mainly above the temperature of thermal decomposition of solid propellant. The mould is equipped with a jacket, through which a heat-transfer agent at a temperature of 30-60C is passed, observing the relation between the temperature of the mould chamber and the temperature of the armor-plated grain within 1.5 to 4.0. The armor mass is fed to the space through a multi-gate burner uniformly around the edges of the armor-plated grain with a subsequent seasoning at an injection pressure for 10 to 40s. EFFECT: enhanced adaptability to manufacture, safety and enhanced quality of manufactured charges. 5 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
