Zusammenfassung:FIELD: machine engineering, possibly different types of cutters, drills, screw taps, drilling tools, drawing plates and so on for cold and hot working of different materials, mainly metals and their alloys. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes base and working portion secured to base and made of hard alloy containing tungsten monocarbide, titanium carbides, tantalum, niobium and cobalt binder. Near-surface layer of working portion having thickness 3 -15 micrometers is enriched with solid solution of tungsten in carbides of titanium, tantalum and niobium - phase (Ti,W,Ta,Nb)C whose content in said layer is in range 28 - 99.5 mass%.
