Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely machines for contour follower free working of shaped surfaces, possibly turning pairs of railway road wheels. SUBSTANCE: machine tool rest includes base; lengthwise and crosswise carriages with motion drives; tool unit for turning with lengthwise feed; and additional cutter units for turning with crosswise feed. The last have tangential plates for rough working and shaped plates for finish working. Cutter unit and tool unit are mounted in turret head of rest. Turret head is mounted with possibility of discrete rotation by means of drive mechanism. Such apparatus allows not to use device for profiling. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of working, improved accuracy, possibility for using high effective cutting modes and for quickly changing tool units. 1 dwg
