Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: flameless fire-extinguishing aerosol generator has cylindrical casing with discharge openings, igniter, aerosol-forming compound charge, cooling member, and labyrinth-type cooling unit. Metal sleeve is mounted inside casing so as to define free discharge volume provided with discharge openings in casing and positioned between sleeve bottom and casing end and labyrinth-type gap between sleeve wall and cylindrical part of casing. Aerosol-forming compound charge and cooling member are positioned inside sleeve and separated from one another by chamber for complete burning of combustion products. Discharge openings have diameter of about 6 mm and are spaced from one another by distance of at least three diameters. Total number N of discharge openings is determined from ratio: N = A.(S/F).(Ho/H);, where S is burning area of charge, sq.mm; F is area of one discharge opening, sq.mm; Ho=2 m - basic length of fire-extinguishing aerosol spray; H is predetermined length of fire-extinguishing aerosol spray, m; A=0.02-0.05 is empirical coefficient. EFFECT: increased efficiency in extinguishing of burning gaseous, liquid, and solid combustibles in stationary industrial, public and building rooms, as well as in automobile, river and sea vessels. 1 dwg |
