Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobile engines. Proposed mechanism contains housing 1 with drive from engine shaft and piston 4 connected with housing 1 by means of screw splined joint and connected with hub 6 spline joint. Hub 6 has flange 8 connected with intake camshaft 10, and axial hole accommodating bolt 12 holding hub on shaft 10. Housing is made in form of tube installed on flange 8 of hub 6 and on ring wall 14 arranged on hub between its splines 7 and head 13 of bolt 12. Outer diameter of ring wall 14 is equal to diameter of surface of flange 8 mating with surface 19 of housing 1. Piston 5 is mated with surface 19 of housing with which hub 6 of piston is mated. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of mechanism, provision of compactness. 7 cl, 4 dwg
