Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production film polymer materials with open porous structure and, in particular, capillary-porous permeable materials. Initial partially oriented film material is prepared from nascent reactor ultrahigh-molecular polyethylene powder using solid-phase formation technique, whereupon material is treated with high-boiling organic solvent at temperature inferior to melting temperature of polyethylene resulting in simultaneous swelling and shrinkage of material. Material is then cooled in air and/or by treating it with at least one low-boiling solvent. The latter is removed and material is further dried under isometric conditions. Final product is characterized by high rupture strength and considerable pore volume.
