Zusammenfassung:FIELD: testing space objects. SUBSTANCE: system is placed in vacuum chamber provided with cryoscreens and chamber is evacuated to required level at simultaneous chilling of system by supplying liquid nitrogen to cavities of cryoscreens and checking temperature of article. Specific feature of proposed method consists in supplying inert gas at boiling point below boiling point of nitrogen after attaining preset pressure in vacuum chamber. Amount of inert gas is dictated by capacity of pumps of vacuum chamber. Supply of inert gas is continued at maintenance of preset pressure till preset chilling temperature has been attained. EFFECT: reduction of time required for tests; reduced consumption of nitrogen; reduced power requirements.
