Zusammenfassung:FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, in engine using gaseous hydrocarbon fuel of high ignition temperature requiring external energy supply for ignition of fuel under chemical reactor compression and power modes, conditions are created in all cylinders at supply of energy required for ignition of gas-air mixture to provide the same moment of ignition after top dead center by preliminary heating of gas-air mixture and individually set heating conditions of glow plugs in each cylinder. With engine operating under chemical reactor compression mode, oxidizer excess coefficient is set less than unity, and under power mode, greater than unity by changing amount of gas gas-air mixture and heating temperature. EFFECT: increased service life of engine, its power output and improved ecological characteristics. 2 cl, 2 dwg
