Zusammenfassung:FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: process comprises crushing crude clay (65-70%), adding dehydrated clay (12-25%) and wood sawdust (10-20%), molding, drying, and firing. Utilized clay is composed of, wt. %: SiO2 55.12, Al2O3 12.83, Fe2O3 4.75, CaO 6.02, MgO 1.91, SO3 0.050. Firing is carried out at 980-1050 C, whereas heating and cooling are effected at velocity 70-95 C/h. EFFECT: improved quality of brick due to use of high-quality clay in combination with optimum heating and cooling conditions.
