Zusammenfassung:FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; production of aluminum-silicon alloys. SUBSTANCE: aluminum-silicon alloy is produced from charge containing aluminum oxide. Proposed method includes melting and heating melt at two stages in two melting units; molten metal base is formed in first melting unit before delivery of charge which is set in rotation by means of MHD unit. After first stage of heating of molten charge on revolving metal base, rarefaction is formed in melting unit and then aluminum-silicon alloy is introduced into molten charge as reductant for reduction of metals into metal and gaseous phases from their oxides. Then, rarefaction is removed and reduced mass is evacuated, thus forming melt of aluminum and silicon oxides at content of silicon oxide no less than 30% relative to aluminum oxide. Melt thus formed is transferred to second melting unit and second stage of heating is performed; upon completion of second stage of heating, aluminum and silicon are reduced from their oxides by carbon reductant. EFFECT: reduced power requirements; possibility of recovery of heat and wastes. 6 cl, 1 dwg
