MUSCLE EXERCISING AND POSTURE CORRECTING APPARATUS

FIELD: medicine and sports. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotary frame mounted on platform in vertical columns and equipped with angular position mechanism, and table mounted on rotary frame and adapted for accommodation of user's body. Table has leg receiving portion, flexible pelvis receiving portion, and chest receiving portion with head rest. Table is provided with user's body parts retainers made in the form of straps and double-armed leg levers, which are connected to loading devices. Apparatus is further equipped with chair-exerciser mounted on platform and provided with loading device and load creating cable-and-sheave systems, whose cables are fixed on each column through sheaves. Table is further provided with spine extraction mechanisms arranged in leg receiving end and head receiving end of table, with hand grips positioned in leg receiving end and roll-type body retainers. Pelvis and chest receiving portions of table are made in the form of integral single section having flexible surface with variable curvature. Head rest is pivotally fixed on frame at proximal end and is locked at distal end. Leg receiving portion of table is composed of two parts arranged in symmetry with respect to longitudinal axis. Said parts are pivotally fixed on frame with their proximal ends and locked at their distal ends. Chest receiving portion has surface curvature changing mechanism positioned in lower part of frame. Pelvis receiving portion is equipped with spring-loaded thrust. Apparatus may be used for rehabilitation treatment and correction of posture in health-improving and sportive complexes, and may be also employed for manual massaging of spine, as well as for spine and joints extraction.
