Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: hydrogen production. SUBSTANCE: hydrogen-rich gas is prepared from dimethyl ether, which is brought into contact with water steam in presence of solid catalyst and solid acid at weight ratio between 1:5 and 5: 1, respectively, in fixed-bed reactor, said solid catalyst containing metal. Contact is effected at 225-450 C and pressure from 1 to 100 bar. EFFECT: increased yield of target product with high selectivity with respect to hydrogen and carbon oxides. 4 cl, 2 tbl, 2 ex
