Zusammenfassung:FIELD: manufacture of reinforcing members for ferroconcrete structures. SUBSTANCE: reinforcing rod includes core and inclined protrusions on surface of core arranged along multistart helical line and having apexes restricted by circle with diameter equal to large axis of cross section of core. Cross section of core is in the form of curvilinear tetragon with equal opposite sides being convex along large axis of core cross section and concave along its small axis. Convex sides of core are formed by pieces of circle arc with diameter equal to large axis of cross section. Concave sides are formed by pieces of circle arc with diameter consisting 1.5 - 2.0 of large axis of core. Spacing between apexes of angles of curvilinear tetragon along large axis of cross section of core consists 0.6 - 0.8 of diameter D along said axis. EFFECT: enhanced engagement of reinforcing rod with concrete due to optimal shape of rod, improved technique for making rod. 2 cl, 4 dwg
