SOOT FILTER

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diesel engine exhaust gas cleaning system designed for cleaning exhaust gases from hard particles, including soot. Said filter contains cylindrical housing accommodating inlet branch pipe in form of volute, outlet branch pipe, coaxially installed concentric outer and inner cylinders, end face tight covers, soot collector, has turbine using for its operation exhaust gas energy. Said turbine is installed for rotation on end face cover on support brought out of limits of cylinder inner space. Outer cylinder is provided with holes in its side surface and is rigidly coupled with gas turbine and housing. Inner cylinder is made in form of cermet porous catalytic filtering element rigidly secured at one side on turbine wheel, and at other side installed for rotation in end face cover. Conical holes in side surface of cylinder are made narrowing from inner to outer part of side surface of said cylinder. Soot collector is located in lower part of soot filter. Said filter entraps soot particles in full volume, provides complete burning out of soot particles and reduced backpressure at discharge. EFFECT: increased efficiency of cleaning by 15-20%. 1 dwg
