For that aim, C16-C26-n- alkanes, individually or as mixtures, are introduced directly into substances to be marked (chemicals, diesel fuel, kerosene, paraffins, Vaselines, anticorrosive compositions, cosmetic and therapeutic preparations, etc.) or chemical marker-containing compositions are prepared and put on product packaging or are introduced into adhesive formulations or other constituents of products.
