Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to muscular force-driven vehicles. Proposed pedal is made in form of downward pointed yoke with support pad secured from below and arranged under shaft. To adjust pedal for size of foot or shoe, body and support pad are made, each, of two parts, one of which is fixed at side of crank and the other is installed for displacement relative fixed part along axis of pedal and can be locked in position. Support pad adjoins body through adjusting spacers being provided with belts or tapes enclosing body before pedal shaft and after pedal shaft and tension adjusters. Proposed pedal provides convenient connection of foot and pedal, improves safety of rider in case of contact of pedal with road obstacle and makes it possible to dispense with special shoes and even ride barefoot.
