Zusammenfassung:FIELD: mining industry, construction of tailing dumps for storage of waste of enrichment plants. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in formation of single-stage dike which embankment despite inhomogeneity of ground material presents integral structure together with base and excludes risk of emergence of hydrodynamic accidents when tailing dump is filled up with waste to calculated level. Proposed single-stage dike of tailing dump includes embankment made of horizontal layers of ground material of trapezoidal cross-section limited by crest on top, by base ground on bottom and by inclined planes of upper and lower slopes on sides and forming jointly with base ground man-made storage with capacity for keeping waste of enrichment plants transported in the form of pulp. Horizontal layers are laid in embankment with compaction up to filtration coefficient equal to or less than 1.10-3 m/day. Resistance to displacement of embankment along base ground under action of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces created by head of waste stored to level of open surface of pond-settling basin amounts to tg 0Scsa.gammag.m>=(hmaxh)2gammawKa.c, where Scsa is cross-section area of embankment; o is friction angle; gammag.m and gammaw are volume weights of ground material and water; hmaxh is maximum height of head; Ka.c is assurance coefficient. Level of crest of embankment in this case is at least one meter higher than level of open surface of pond-settling basin at maximum of flooding level and parameters of cross-section of embankment are determined in correspondence with relief of base and its slope. EFFECT: prevented risk of emergence of hydrodynamic accidents when tailing dump is filled up to calculated level. 1 dwg
