SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing ends of tube made of high-strength cast iron; preliminarily heating them; then arc welding of them and subjecting them to heat treatment; making additive rod or wire by mechanically working tubular blanks of high-strength cast iron; at process of heat treatment gradually cooling welded seam at rate no more than 150 C/min; using additive rod or wire with cross section area equal to (0,05...1,0)S2, sq.mm, where S is thickness of tube wall. EFFECT: lowered trend of welded joint to cracking, enhanced resistance to dynamic loads. 5 cl
