EXTRUDER DIE FOR MANUFACTURE OF MACARONI PRODUCTS

FIELD: food engineering. SUBSTANCE: extruder die has casing made in the form of bushing with variable diameter opening and projections positioned at stepped diameter end of opening. Plastic insert with C-shaped forming openings is set in stepped diameter opening. Forming openings are arranged circumferentially and connected with one another axially of insert. Bushing abuts with its smaller diameter end into projections, and its opposite end is provided with bore. Base disposed in bore and in larger diameter part of stepped opening is provided with dead holes arranged circumferentially in equally spaced relation and with forming openings similar to those of insert and partly opened into dead openings. C-shaped openings in insert are aligned with holes in base by means of projection disposed on base end and inserted into mating slot in insert. Outer diameters D of casing and base are of equal size. Part of casing having inner diameter d is an interference fit with outer diameter of base. Extruder die has section of compound configuration and is provided with members having high precision sizes. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
