CASCADE POLYMER COMPLEXES, DIAGNOSTIC CONTRAST SUBSTANCE CONTAINING THEREOF, AND INTERMEDIATES

FIELD: medical-destination polymers. SUBSTANCE: invention provides cascade polymer complexes containing (i) complexing ligands of general formula I: A-[X-{Y-[Z-(W-Kw)z]y}x]a, wherein A, Z, W, X, a, z, w, x, and y are specified in claims, K denotes complexing agent residue of formula IA: R1 (IA), in which R2 and R3 represent hydrogen, -CH(R4)-CO-N(R2)-U7-T- group R4, U7 hydrogen or C1-C30-alkyl, -CO-alpha saturated C1-C20-alkylene group, and T represents alpha with denoting connection site between terminal nitrogen atoms of the last generation of reproductive monomer unit W, or K denotes complexing agent residue of formula IB: R1 with alpha representing hydrogen and being as indicated above, on condition that at least two reproductive monomer units, product of multipleticity coefficients a*x*y*z*w is equal to 24 or 36; (ii) at least 19 ions of elements selected from lanthanoids; and, if necessary, (ii) acylated terminal amino groups. Invention further describes diagnostic contrast substance containing above-indicated polymers and also describes 1,4,7.10-tetracyclodecane derivatives as intermediates in synthesis of these polymers.
