Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: medicine, cardiovascular surgery. SUBSTANCE: biomaterial is treated with a base solution of epoxy- compounds at pH 3.0-11.0 and 4-45 C for 2-21 d, washed, treated with chlorohexydine solution at the concentration of not less than 1% at 3.0-8.0 and 15-45 C for 2-16 h, and then, again, washed and repeatedly treated with a base solution for 1-3 d. As a base solution one could use a 2- 5-% diglycidyl ether solution of ethylene glycol or a 2-5-% solution of epoxy-compounds' mixtures of different composition. The method enables to prevent bacterial contamination of biological surface of a prosthesis and use modified bioprostheses under conditions of either local or generalized infectious process.
