Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: low- voltage data displays, digital and alphanumeric displays, universal data display panels. SUBSTANCE: screen has vacuum envelope assembled of two glass plates of which one is transparent face plate and other is substrate mounting flat thin end emitters and anodes coated with conducting layer and phosphor to form light-emitting element; anodes and emitters are connected through anode and emitter buses to supply voltage leads; it also has insulating frame that tightly joins transparent plate and substrate together. Light-emitting element is built up of two parts of which first one is electron source provided with emitters and anodes coated with conducting layer; anodes and emitters are made in the form of combs inserted one into other and spaced through small adjustable distance apart in parallel planes; other part is light source made in the form of anode coated with conducting layer and phosphor; light source is disposed nearby in electron irradiation zone with electrons generated by electron source. In addition surface area of light emitting element light source is larger than that of light-emitting element electron source by 2-5 times; light source of light emitting element may be made of any desired configuration.
