Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes manufacture of products operated in oxidizing gas streams and in abrasive-bearing media, gas and liquid streams, as well as in friction couples. Method involves manufacturing layered carbon composite blank based on carbon-fiber filler framework with open porosity reducing in direction from protective layer to internal supporting layers from 20-40% to 6-12%. Outside protective layer of blank is formed with developed fine-porous structure and silicication of blank is accomplished by impregnating by with silicon melt with additives possessing plasticity of copper and/or titanium, and/or boron elements. Carbon framework or porous carbon composite blank can be sealed with pyrolyzed carbon using thermogradient technique with variable pyrolysis zone motion velocity increasing in direction from supporting layers to protective layers until open material porosity in internal layers achieves 6-12%. Formation of framework can be conducted using tapes made from unidirectional fibers laid with maximum density. Before or after sealing, fine filler with particle size no larger than 10 mcm can be introduced into framework. Outside layers of blank can be made from silicon carbide fibers.
