Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has detector having radiosensitive film in parallel to the longitudinal tooth cross-section plane. The central X-ray radiation source beam is aimed at the tooth under study in perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. Pictures are taken using device operation modes within 10 W limits. Focus spot characteristic size does not exceed 0.1 mm. Distance from the object under study to the focal spot is not greater than 50 mm. At least one amplifying screen is additionally mounted into detector, its coating is selectable from coating group including wolfram and calcium, lanthanum, Yttrium, Gadolinium, sulfide and baryta lead coatings. Screen loading is not greater than 25 mg/cm2. To produce high full dental arch image quality picture of both jaws in one photo, X-ray radiation source is to be placed in the oral cavity and the detector is placed outside of the maxillofacial surface.
