Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: production of aluminium by electrolysis, possibly starting aluminium cell after repairing it. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of hearth firing; pouring liquid electrolyte and electrically connecting cell. At firing hearth heating its surface until temperature no less than 850 C. Electrolyte is poured by two stages. At first stage 40-55% of electrolyte volume necessary for filling bath until technologically necessary level is poured at rate 0.38-0.46 t/min. At second stage 45-60% of electrolyte volume is poured at rate no less than 0.1 t/min. After electrical connection of cell, voltage is lowered according to predetermined schedule. EFFECT: reduced time period from time moment of termination of hearth firing until electrical connection of cell, lowered thermic shock acting upon cathode device, less loss of fluorides, lowered energy consumption for starting. 2 cl |
