Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, preparing of burden for caking of open-hearth agglomerate. SUBSTANCE: method involves dosing, mixing iron-ore components of burden including blast furnace gas purification sludge with increased weight part of zinc 1-6 wt.%, fluxes and fuel and caking thereof. Consumption of zinc-carbon and iron-bearing sludge of blast furnace gas purification is set to be 1:1 with regard to scale, and total part thereof in agglomeration burden is regulated with regard to scale and makes 20-30%. Method allows iron- and carbon-bearing sludge with increased zinc content to be utilized and high-quality oxidizer for open-hearth smelting to be produced. EFFECT: increased efficiency. 1 tbl, 2 ex
