SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel 3-benzylpiperidines of the formula (I): where R1 means unsubstituted 2- or 3-indolyl, 5H-1,3-dioxolo-[4,5-f]-indolyl or said two compounds are substituted with groups: Hal, CN, AO, COOH or COOA; R2 means unsubstituted benzyl- or phenylhydroxymethyl or said two compounds are substituted with groups: A, AO, Hal or CN where Hal means F, Cl, Br or J; A means C1-C10-alkyl; k = 0 or 1; m = 1, 2, 3 or 4 as racemic or separate steteroisomers and also their physiologically acceptable salts and solvents. Compounds of the formula (I) show effect on the central nervous system and present highly effective ligands of sigma-receptors and show strong inhibitory effect with respect to reuptake of 5-HT (serotonin).
