SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method of synthesis of 2,5,8-trihydroxy-6,7-dichloro-1,4-naphthoquinone by cycloacylation of 1,2,4-trimethoxy-3,5-diethyl- -benzene with dichloromaleic anhydride in the presence of aluminum chloride and sodium chloride. 1,2,4-Trimethoxy-3,5-diethylbenzene is synthesized by reduction of 3,5-diacetyl-1,2,4-trihydroxybenzene to 1,2,4-trihydroxy-3,5- diethylbenzene and its the following exhaustive methylation. Method provides preparing the end substance with yield 59% and excludes the use of fire hazard reagents used in synthesis of the parent compound. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 5 sch
