Ligamentotomy is carried out on ligaments supporting the kneepan. Subchondral osteoperforation and femur and tibia articulation end tunnelization is performed. At least three tunnels are formed in subchondral way in the kneepan in mutually oblique directions. Tibia and fibula are subjected to adjusting osteotomy in the upper 1/3 of the crus with deformity correction and fixation with Ilizarov apparatus until bone fragments adherence takes place.
