SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of mineral fibers, in particular to preparation of compositions for treating these fibers and using the latter to manufacture of glass plastics. More particular objective of invention is to elaborate effective nontoxic oiling agent based on industrially prepared components, which would provide high workability of fibers in textile processing as well as their high adhesion to epoxide, phenol-formaldehyde, polyester, acrylic, and other binding materials. Fiber-treatment composition contains, wt.%: "Emulsol T", 3.3-8.0; emulsifier (any direct oil-in-water-type emulsifier), 0.1-5.0; dicyano-diamido-formaldehyde resin (adhesive substance), 0.1-10.0; organosilicon finishing-functional alkoxysilane or silane mixture, 0.1-2.0; acetic acid, 0.01- 0.5; and distilled water, to 100%.
