SUBSTANCE: method of operation of multi-purpose gas-turbine engine includes ignition of fuel-air mixture in combustion chamber, escape of combustion products and forming rarefaction in combustion chamber for suction of new portion of fuel-air mixture. Energy formed due to combustion of mixture is converted into mechanical work of revolving shaft of turbine. Hydrogen is used as fuel; rotational energy is converted into mechanical work in radial-flow turbine. Fuel-air mixture is subjected to compression due to moment of inertia of mass of revolving radial-flow turbine working as centrifugal compressor. At the moment of compression of mixture, turbine blades are cooled by means of screws, thus admitting fresh air into exhaust ports of turbine. EFFECT: enhanced ecological safety. 3 dwg
