Zusammenfassung:medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out ultrasonic tumor examination, making thin-needle tumor biopsy to determine its maximum thickness. Then, pulsating Nd-laser radiation is administered with 1-5 impulses of 4.5 ms duration each. Radiation intensity is determined from a formula: I= (a+bx)/T, where I is the radiation intensity of an impulse in kW/cm2, x is the maximum tumor thickness in mm, T is the impulse duration in ms, a and b are the empiric coefficients, a=46 J/cm2 and b=77 J/cm2. Irradiation covers also healthy skin area around the tumor 0.2-1.0 cm far from maximum protruding boundary portion of subclinical tumor propagation. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; minimum risk of recidivation and metastases formation.
