SUBSTANCE: electroencephalographic monitoring is carried out, the study of obtained electroencephalogram is performed due to fractal analysis and fractal dimensionality (D) values. Additionally, it is calculated the values of paroxysmal activity test (PAT) according to the content of autobodies to quisqualate-binding membranous protein in patient's blood. Epileptization index (EI) is evaluated by the following formula: EI = PAT x D. If EI = 132.54 ± 5.32 clinical stage of epilepsy is diagnosed, EI = 45.05 ± 3.31 demonstrates patient's health, its intermediate values indicate pre-clinical stage of epilepsy.
