SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of adamantane, namely, to a novel method of synthesis of carbonyl-containing derivatives of adamantine of the general formula: alpha- where is H; R2 is H; R is R1, t-CH3, C4H9; C6H5 is H; R2 is R1; R is CH3; CH3,C2H5 is R2; CH3 is R1; R is i-CH3 that are intermediate products used for synthesis of biologically active substances. Method involves the addition reaction of corresponding ketones of aliphatic and saturated aromatic order to 1,3-dehydro-adamantane in the mole ratio of reagents = 1 : (2-6) in medium of inert solvent, at ketone boiling point (56-120 C) for 6-12 h.
