Zusammenfassung:	production of continuous basalt fiber from rock melt, particularly, methods of spinning of continuous basalt fiber from rock melts; applicable at basalt fiber plants. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of basalt melt to die feeder, homogenization and thermal blending of melt, melt supply to dies and fiber spinning with forced abstraction of heat with water passed through cooling device. Water supply for cooling of underdie zone shall not be less than 0.5 l per kilogram of basalt melt passing through die feeder. Water temperature at inlet of cooling device shall not exceed 50 C with hardness within 4 mg. equiv./l. EFFECT: higher quality of products and fiber spinning productivity. 1 dwg
