Zusammenfassung: | construction material industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has melting furnace communicated with forehearth through overflow trough. Melting furnace has hearth with central discharge opening, side walls rigidly connected to hearth, and detachable water cooled dome. Burners and charging funnel are mounted on dome. Charging funnel is connected to burden feeding device made in the form of drum-type drier or rotating tube. Working window is positioned between burners and charging opening. Hydraulic gate is provided between housing and dome for preventing furnace gases from bursting out from melting furnace. Furnace hearth has curbstone extending along perimeter of discharge opening to define bath for mixing melts of different components. Curbstone is equipped with passages for continuous delivery of melt into discharge opening. Spraying device is positioned in overflow trough under discharge opening and adapted for mixing melt flowing from melting furnace. Forehearth is composed of two lined plate-like vessels, one of vessels serving as melt bath and other vessel serving as forehearth dome. Forehearth is furnished with immersion burners tangentially arranged on dome and designed for maintaining constant temperature of melt in forehearth. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing melt having stable chemical composition and, accordingly, reduced rejection and improved quality of cast products. 5 cl, 2 dwg |
